Philadelphia, PA – A grim discovery on a North Philadelphia block Friday morning has triggered a homicide investigation after police found a dead man stuffed inside a suitcase along East Hilton Street.
Philadelphia police responded around 9:25 a.m. to the 600 block of East Hilton Street, where officers from the city’s 25th District located an adult male inside the suitcase. Medics pronounced the man dead just two minutes later, at 9:27 a.m., according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Investigators have not released the man’s identity, and officials have not yet determined how he died.
