A vegetation fire was reported on the border of Castro Valley and Hayward on Friday afternoon, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
The fire was reported at 2:31 p.m. in the area of the 21000 block of Knoll Way, located near the junction of Highways 238 and 580.
