PARK RIDGE, Ill. (WGN) — Park Ridge police are asking neighbors to check their doorbell and home surveillance cameras for possible suspects involved in a battery that left a teenage boy seriously injured.
“He was struck in the head. He was knocked unconscious, and he’s been in the ICU all week,” said Sean Connelly, the boy’s father. “We humbly ask the residents of Park Ridge to look through your Ring video footage, or any footage you have.”
Police are specifically asking people to check footage recorded Monday, May 18, 2026, between 5 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.
