The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality crash on I-44 and HWY 75 this morning, where a semi-truck and another vehicle struck a man, who stepped into traffic.
OHP Lt. Mark Southall told KRMG a man stopped his vehicle in the westbound construction zone of I-44 and HWY 75 before the accident occurred.
“What we know at this point is that a driver pulled into a closed construction area. At some point, he entered the roadway where he was struck by a semi-truck, and then another vehicle struck him as well, shortly thereafter. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, (and the) next of kin notification has been made,” Southall said…
