California Highway Patrol Mojave to conduct DUI, license checkpoint

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Highway Patrol Mojave Area is set to conduct a DUI and license checkpoint Friday night into early Saturday morning.

CHP said the checkpoint is scheduled from 7 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday in an unincorporated part of Eastern Kern County, which includes Boron, Rosamond, Mojave, Tehachapi, Inyokern and Rosamond.

During the checkpoint officers will be searching for signs of impairment and proper licensing.
