ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – Law enforcement across all Lowcountry Beaches has increased staffing and enforcement efforts in preparation for Memorial Day Weekend to ensure everyone’s safety.
Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, meaning thousands of people are expected to fill Lowcountry beaches. Which is why law enforcement is increasing patrols.
“They’re going to be working overtime, we have our beach patrol that will be out there. We’re in the blue shirts driving up and down the beach,” Isle of Palms Police Dept., Sgt. Matt Storen said.”…
