Ohio Test Drive Ends in Arrest After Alleged Stolen Lexus Tracked Into Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing multiple felony charges after West Virginia State Police say he failed to return a vehicle from an Ohio dealership test drive and was later stopped in Fayette County with drugs inside the vehicle.

According to State Police, Trooper N.J. Adams responded Wednesday, May 20, 2026, to a report of a stolen vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 77 in Kanawha County.

Authorities said a Lexus bearing Ohio registration OJ 27043 had been reported stolen by a CarMax dealership in Ohio after two individuals allegedly failed to return the vehicle following a scheduled test drive…
