WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — The remains of a Rhode Island man who was killed during World War II have finally been accounted for, according to U.S. Department of Defense.
The POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced Friday that the remains of U.S. Army Air Force 2nd Lieutenant Robert Barrat, 20, of Woonsocket, were identified on April 30, 2025.
