Florida School Board Employee Arrested

A Florida school board employee was arrested. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested 50-year-old Michael Pride on one count each of dealing in stolen property, grand theft and driving while license suspended or revoked.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation began after agents with the Economic Crime Squad received a tip from a concerned citizen stating that Michael Pride ordered large quantities of copper wire for the school board from a local electrical supply company while working as a maintenance employee for the school board.

According to law enforcement, Michael Pride, of Quincy, was a supervisor in the Maintenance Department for the Gadsden County School Board and employed with them for over 30 years…
