Severe storms knock out power for thousands of Houston-area customers
Tens of thousands of Houston-area residents woke up Saturday without power after a round of severe thunderstorms tore through the region overnight.
The latest numbers tell two very different stories. CenterPoint Energy has made some progress, dropping from more than 21,000 outages to 18,654 customers still in the dark.
