Estes Park High School graduates thrill supporters

Estes Park High School Principal Sonja Greenway started the 2026 graduation ceremony Friday by saying: “One of the greatest strengths of this graduating class is that every one of you brings something different to the world. You’re athletes, actors, gamers, musicians, scholars, writers, artists, filmmakers, leaders, innovators, and problem solvers.”

“But more importantly, you’re change makers,” she said. “(Mahatma) Gandhi once said, ‘Be the change you want to see in the world.’ And if anyone is capable of creating positive change, it’s this group of amazing humans sitting before us tonight.”

Graduates with the Class of 2026 donned the traditional caps and gowns for the ceremony at the Estes Park Events Center, where hundreds of friends and family members cheered the 69 graduates in their big moment — the culmination of 12 years of classes, study, and activities.

The ceremony began with the traditional playing of Pomp and Circumstance by the Estes Park High School Band directed by Nicholas Pierce and the singing of the National Anthem by Major 13, directed by Brianna Gress…
