Firefighters were called to a home on Highway 76 in Nichols after smoke was spotted coming from the residence.
At 11:20 a.m., Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 5000 block of Highway 76. Smoke was showing when crews arrived. Fair Bluff Fire and Rescue assisted.
The fire is under control. The residence sustained some fire damage, but no injuries were reported…
