Boynton Beach housemates cuffed after warrant standoff in alleged kidnapping-robbery case

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Multiple housemates were arrested for allegedly obstructing a police search warrant, following an investigation of a report of robbery and kidnapping that occurred at their Boynton Beach home.

The Boynton Beach Police Department reported that officers were called to a home on Lake Monterey Circle after a man reported that he had been robbed, kidnapped, and violently attacked.

When officers arrived, they found the victim in a state of panic—disheveled, shirtless, shoeless, and visibly shaken. He detailed a harrowing experience, claiming that he lived with Angel Ortega and Maria Twohill, who allegedly enforced strict and controlling rules at the residence. Additionally, the report stated the victim said a man named “Sean” moved in recently, and there is a landlord named “Adrian” who doesn’t live in the home…
