Unusable piece of land gets unique remodel as work begins on new tiny home village

A NARROW and awkwardly shaped strip of land has been transformed into a village of tiny homes to address homelessness among older adults.

The project on the seemingly unusable land has broken ground to create four affordable and energy-efficient housing developments.

Officials began working on the Seeds of Hope Tiny Home Village in Worcester, Massachusetts on Tuesday to test whether smaller and potentially less expensive housing developments can help address the affordability crisis plaguing older residents.
