Wichita police investigate early-morning shooting

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department is investigating a shooting after a 35-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound early Saturday morning.

Around 2:45 a.m., officers responded to Via Christ St. Francis for a reported walk-in shooting victim.

According to WPD, the victim told officers he was walking in the area of South Seneca and West McCormick streets when an unknown man approached him.
