The Philomath Inclusivity Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Philomath City Hall to review a Juneteenth social media post, update its annual inclusivity proclamation for the City Council and discuss community engagement at upcoming June events.
The public is invited to attend and the meeting will be livestreamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
The committee will first review a draft Juneteenth post written for the city’s Facebook page. The post recognizes June 19 as a commemoration of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
