South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating a fatal boat accident on the Sampit River on Saturday morning.
Wendell “Jay” Holbert III, 49, of Conway died from injuries sustained in a two boat collision in Georgetown County, according to sources at the Georgetown County Coroner’s Office.
