LUBBOCK, Texas — Buddy Holly Hall is set to host the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra (LSO) as they celebrate America this Memorial Day weekend.
The LSO is ready to perform Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and more for the Lubbock community. The event begins at 7:30 p.m., however if you come early, a special outdoor performance by country singer Hannah Jackson will take place at 6 p.m. The first 200 people to show up Saturday evening will get free hot dogs before the Symphony takes the stage.

- Ives’ Variations on “America”
- Joplin’s The Entertainer
- Gershwin’s An American in Paris
- Copland’s Variations on a Shaker Melody and Hoe-Down: from Rodeo
- Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture
- Lowden’s Armed Forces Salute
- Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever.
