COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Some black bears are in a safer area, for them and for residents, after being found in a northern Colorado Springs neighborhood.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife said they got the call from a neighborhood in the North Gate area. They said a 150 pound sow and her two toddler cubs (100 pounds each) were found under the back deck of a family home.
After immobilizing them, CPW said they were able to relocate them several hours south, to an area they said was a better habitat for the bears…
