As summer months are heating up, the South Carolina Gamecocks are getting hot on the recruiting trail. In recent weeks, the Gamecocks have landed verbal commitments from four-star receiver Javien Robinson and four-star running back Brayden Tyson.
Over the weekend, South Carolina also locked in an official visit with 4-star wide receiver Chuck “Chuck” Alexander. On Saturday, the Cincinnati, Ohio native announced he was taking three official visits in the upcoming months, including with the Gamecocks on June 19, Wisconsin on June 12 and to Louisville on June 29.

Alexander is a flip target for South Carolina, as the receiver has been verbally committed to Louisville since November of 2025. As of right now, it appears as those are the only visits Alexander has lined up. He also holds offers from Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Wisconsin and Indiana among several others…
