HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Sunday, at 7:22 PM the Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) responded to the Marina Pointe Apartments at 5750 Lake Resort Drive after 911 received reports of smoke coming from the roof of one building in the complex.
According to CFD, a lightning strike is believed to be the cause of an apartment fire.
They say first responders worked together with residents to evacuate the building as CFD began their operations…
