A round of showers and thunderstorms will move through southeast Minnesota and north Iowa Sunday evening. Additional showers and a few thunderstorms can be expected overnight to early Monday morning. Depending on where the best downpours move through, there may be some good, healthy rainfall in some locations overnight.
Rain will be moving southeast of us Monday morning, clearing the ABC 6 area by 9-10am Monday. Clouds will decrease quickly, making for a beautifully bright, warm Monday afternoon.
Once again, a few showers and storms are possible late Monday night into Tuesday morning. There may even be a few stronger storms near the Minnesota/Iowa border in the late afternoon to evening Monday, although the best location for that to occur is west of I-35.
There is a very slight chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop to our north, primarily, but a few showers may sneak into southeast Minnesota Tuesday night…
