Mother of murder victim taking 25th cold case awareness caravan along Route 66

TULSA, Okla. — A mother who has spent more than two decades fighting for justice for her daughter is once again hitting the road to bring attention to unsolved cases across the country.

Maggie Zingman, the mother of murder victim Brittany Phillips, is currently traveling on her 25th cold case awareness caravan. This year’s trip is different from previous journeys because much of the route will follow historic Route 66 during the highway’s centennial celebration.

Zingman’s daughter, Brittany Phillips, was murdered in Tulsa in 2004. Since then, Zingman has traveled around the country advocating for cold case victims and supporting families still searching for answers…
