Conditions for Memorial Day are looking sunny and warm. It will be a great day to spend outside either on the lake or at the pool.
We are still dealing with a few spotty showers this evening across western Kansas.
A Marginal Risk is in place as one or two storms could reach the severe threshold producing gusty winds and hail.
Showers will continue to track east through the early evening. Moisture will quickly fizzle out before midnight.
Southerly winds and partly cloudy skies will keep temperatures warm overnight. Lows will dip into the 50s and 60s.
It will be toasty tomorrow with highs in the 80s and 90s. We will see a few passing clouds overhead with winds out of the south.
A few storms will be possible along the Colorado state line late Monday night. The bulk of the rain will fall apart once it crosses into Kansas.
Rain chances will ramp up for the rest of the week as an unsettled pattern takes control.
Scattered showers and storms will be persistent for the second half of the week. Rain will be hit or miss with dry time mixed in. We will not see a ton of moisture from this, but we will take any drop we can get.
Temperatures will start to trend cooler by next week as we head into the start of June.
