Memorial Day storms to form after warm-up

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Skies are partly to mostly clear on this Memorial Day Monday morning, with most areas starting off slightly milder than Sunday and at least slightly milder than average. Winds are mostly calm with the highest humidity values mostly out east and to the north, with little rainfall out west.

Air temperatures in the north are mostly starting off in the 40s to the low 60s, with parts of the Northeast Plains being very damp in the 50s. Elsewhere to the south, air temperatures are mostly ranging from around the high 40s to even the lower 70s.

Many areas from eastern New Mexico to the Pecos River Valley area will range from the upper 60s to the lower 90s from north to south from high to low elevation.
