RTD has approved a direct bus route connecting Longmont with Denver International Airport, giving travelers a new public-transit option beginning Sept. 27.
The new Route AL is planned to operate hourly from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Buses will begin at the Park-n-Ride at 8th Avenue and Coffman Street, stop in Niwot and Lafayette and continue to the airport using E-470 and Peña Boulevard.
