DNEVER (KDVR) — A man who officials said escaped on Wednesday from Intervention Community Corrections Sentencing was arrested on Thursday after fleeing from deputies into a cornfield.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said it responded just after 10 a.m. on Thursday to the 27000 block of Weld County Road 15 for a report of a man with active warrants.

The man, identified as Luis Gustavo-Lucero, reportedly escaped from ICCS on Wednesday and was in the area where deputies responded. A deputy reportedly spotted him in a vehicle and attempted a traffic stop; however, Lucero fled out of the vehicle into a cornfield.
Patrol deputies and Johnstown police officers responded along with a sheriff’s office drone, while a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office K-9 assisted in the search…
