A lengthy back and forth at Tuesday’s Loveland City Council meeting on marijuana dispensaries. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports ultimately, the City Council took no action, but agreed to bring back the item to a future study session for a more detailed discussion. Councilor Laura Light-Kovacs proposed directing the city manager’s office to bring back either an ordinance for consideration by City Council or language for a ballot initiative. She wanted both to specify restrictions on where dispensaries could be located, to keep them from areas where children gather or clustering in one part of the city.
