David Grubbs was named superintendent of Estes Park School District at the regular meeting of the district’s Board of Education on Monday at Estes Park Town Hall.
Grubbs was not at the meeting Monday as current Superintendent Ruby Bode explained that he, along with the other two candidates for superintendent, Jeff Casey and Matthew Wright, were busy with their administrative duties at their current schools.
All three finalists were interviewed and met with the public last week.
Board director Brenda Wyss ended the mystery of who the board would choose late in the meeting when she introduced a motion to appoint Grubbs as the district’s new superintendent. Board member Brad Shochat seconded the motion, which passed unanimously…
