LONGMONT, Colo. (KDVR) — Winds at the Vance Brand Airport in Longmont began gusting just as the exercises were scheduled to begin Thursday morning.
Members of the Colorado National Guard and firefighters with the Division of Fire Prevention and Control gathered there for a fire aviation training exercise.
