Local artists are coming together for their second year of supporting Lafayette’s Sister Carmen Community Center through an art sale fundraiser.
On Sunday, the fundraiser hosted by the group Artists in Action will be held at the Tri-City Elks Lodge at 525 Main St. in Louisville. From 2 to 6 p.m., guests can buy original art donated by over 50 local artists. There will also be live music and complimentary baked goods. The sale is free to attend.
Last year’s art sale raised over $11,000 for Sister Carmen, according to event founder Molly Hargarten. She shared in an email to the Times-Call that the event leaders hope to bring in at least that much this year…
