The Tavern at St. Michael’s Square in Greeley is closing after 15 years, and I am so bummed! The restaurant/bar opened back in 2010.
According to visitgreeley.com, Chef Chad Young stepped into the project while between jobs in 2010, and he and his wife, Wendy, purchased the restaurant/bar outright in 2012.
The shocking news was announced on the Tavern at St. Michaels Square Facebook page on the morning of May 6th, 2026, and by the looks of the post comments, the Greeley community is pretty bummed…
