Parkland Ranked Florida’s Best Place to Live, Cracks Top 15 Nationally

Parkland has been named the best place to live in Florida in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-27 Best Places to Live rankings, while also earning a spot among the top-ranked communities in the nation.

The annual rankings placed Parkland 14th nationally among 250 communities selected from more than 850 cities and towns evaluated across the United States. The city was the highest-ranked Florida community on the list and improved significantly from its national ranking a year earlier, when it ranked 59th.

According to U.S. News and World Report, the rankings are based on a combination of factors that Americans say matter most when deciding where to live. Communities were evaluated using measures tied to quality of life, value, desirability, and the strength of the local job market.
