South Palm Beach County’s dining scene took a double hit last month with the unexpected closures of Lefkes Estiatorio in Delray Beach and Tin Fish Boca in West Boca Raton. The two restaurants that arrived with distinct identities and loyal followings but ultimately proved short-lived.
Lefkes Estiatorio brought Mykonos-style nightlife with refined Mediterranean cuisine to Delray Beach Market when it opened in August 2024. The restaurant was the first new concept to occupy the space following the closure of the food hall in early 2023. Drawing inspiration from its roots in Athens and Santorini, along with an outpost in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, Lefkes aimed to transport diners with a glamorous, celebratory atmosphere that stood out in downtown Delray.
Lefkes has not issued a public reason for its closure…
