Dramatic video shows deputies rescuing woman from sinking car in Pompano Beach

Dramatic new body camera video shows Broward deputies and an off-duty firefighter racing to save a woman from her vehicle as it was sinking in a Pompano Beach canal.

The footage released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Friday shows deputies responding after the vehicle ended up in the water in the 2600 block of S. Palm Aire Drive, near Palm Aire Country Club, back on May 1.
