Dispute Over Shoes at Boca Raton Bus Stop Leads to Battery Arrest

A 23-year-old man was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery after authorities say he struck a man during a dispute over shoes at a Boca Raton bus stop.

Tyquan Milton Davis, of Miami, was taken into custody following the June 6 incident at the bus stop on 1750 Butts Road, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Boca Raton Police Department. According to the report, officers responded around 8:15 a.m. to a report of an altercation that had left a man injured. The alleged victim told police he and his girlfriend were crossing Butts Road when they noticed a pair of tennis shoes on a bench that appeared to fit her.
