Not Lovin’ It: Woman Accused of Beating McDonald’s Drive-Thru Worker Over ‘Un-Happy Meal’

A woman is accused of attacking a McDonald’s drive-thru worker after complaining that her order was taking too long.

According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, deputies responded on June 9 to a 911 call reporting a burglary and battery at the McDonald’s at 8375 North Pine Island Road. Investigators said the confrontation began when a customer became upset while waiting in the drive-thru and complained that her food order was taking too long.

Law enforcement identified the suspect as Shalonda Walls, 43, of Pompano Beach. Investigators said Walls became involved in a verbal argument with a drive-thru employee that escalated into a physical altercation when she reached through the drive-thru window and punched the worker in the face multiple times. The employee attempted to defend herself, but Walls allegedly continued striking her, causing visible facial injuries…
