Wildfire burns 600 acres in western Miami-Dade, affects air quality in Broward

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A wildfire was active on Tuesday after burning 600 acres in western Miami-Dade County, according to the Florida Forest Service.

The fire, which started on Monday afternoon, was 45% contained as the Florida Forest Service’s Everglades unit continued working.
