Gainesville man indicted on hate crime charge for attempting mass shooting at AIPAC office, DOJ says

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The U.S. Department of Justice has secured an indictment against a Gainesville man accused of attempting to commit a mass shooting targeting Jewish victims just before Christmas last year.

Authorities announced on Thursday that a grand jury in the Southern District of Florida indicted Forrest Kendall Pemberton, 27, of Gainesville, Florida, on federal hate crime and firearm offenses.
