Police Still Looking For Leads in 26-Year-Old West Boca Murder

Investigators are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that could identify a man whose remains were found in a West Boca canal more than 25 years ago and help solve the cold case homicide.

The unidentified remains were discovered Nov. 21, 2000, in a canal at the 18000 block of State Road 7, approximately one mile north of Clint Moore Road in unincorporated Boca Raton, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators believe the victim was a Hispanic male between 21 and 35 years old, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing roughly 113 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes…
