South Florida is forecast to see moderate to major heat risk this weekend, as a prolonged stretch of elevated temperatures continues, according to the National Weather Service.
Heat index values, or “feels-like” temperatures, are expected to reach the mid-100s across Florida through the end of the week and into the weekend, according to the NWS.
