A man fleeing an alleged domestic violence attack was found bleeding so severely during a Coral Springs traffic stop that a police officer had to apply an emergency tourniquet before he was rushed to the hospital.
According to a Coral Springs Police Department arrest report, the victim left a home in the 10800 block of Royal Palm Boulevard following an early morning altercation on June 26. Shortly after leaving, he was stopped by Officer Joseph Grilo, who discovered he was suffering from a deep laceration to his arm and multiple bite wounds.
As the extent of his injuries became apparent, Grilo applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding until Coral Springs Fire Rescue arrived and transported the man to Broward Health Coral Springs for treatment…
