Ferrari Driver Allegedly Fled Boca Cops, Then Hit Curb in Racing Incident

The driver of a Ferrari was allegedly caught racing on a major roadway in Boca Raton, fled pursuing police officers, but ultimately hit a curb to end the chase, authorities said.

Michael F. Bogdan, 48, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of alleged street racing and fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, according to a Boca Raton police report filed in court this week. An officer conducting stationary radar enforcement near the 600 block of N. Federal Highway shortly after 8 p.m. on June 29 observed a gray four-door Ferrari and a black four-door vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed, the report said.
