PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Former Pembroke Park Town Manager David Lynch has been charged with a felony following a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation into allegations that he secretly recorded private conversations involving town officials.
In a statement to Local 10 News, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed that “pursuant to an FDLE investigation, David Lynch was charged with interception and disclosure of wire, oral or electronic communications.”
Multiple sources familiar with the investigation told Local 10 News that a recording device was discovered attached to Lynch’s office telephone after he was terminated from the town. Those sources said the device was turned over to FDLE investigators…
