National food site Tasting Table has named Dania Beach institution Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant one of Florida’s 11 best ice cream shops.
Tasting Table published the unranked list August 28, with writer Emily Iris Degn praising the restaurant’s house-made ice cream, candy-striped exterior, license plate-covered walls, and full savory menu.
The recognition caps a busy summer for the old-school Broward spot, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
