OPA-LOCKA, Fla. — An Opa-locka mother is facing a child abuse charge after police said she attacked her son with a hammer and pepper spray as they drove near their home on Thursday.
Police said Shkebia Lynettee Stanley, who was booked under the name Lynettee Shkebia Stanley, began attacking the boy at around 3:45 p.m. in the 13300 block of Alexandria Drive.
An arrest report states that on their drive home Stanley, 37, “suddenly stopped the car (and) without warning, she began to strike him with a hammer that she had stored in her vehicle.”…
