Coconut Creek may soon have another healthcare facility.
During a recent meeting, Commissioner Jackie Railey announced that Baptist Health South Florida has agreed to pay about $53.5 million for the Kohl’s building located at 6950 North State Road 7.
According to City Manager Sheila Rose, Baptist will develop an urgent care facility in the 92,700-square-foot building currently occupied by a Kohl’s store that will close on November 14. She said the new healthcare center will be a good addition to Coconut Creek…
