Man wounded in 2020 shootout with Miami cop takes plea deal, gets 15 years in prison

A man who was wounded in a 2020 shootout with a Miami Police officer is headed to prison after accepting a plea deal on Monday.

Antranard Womble, 30, was sentenced to 15 years in prison under the plea deal.

Womble had been arrested on attempted murder and other charges in the April 24, 2020 shooting involving Tactical Robbery Unit Officer Erica Socarras.
