The plan would create 10 new jobs while axing 800 others in an effort to save the district some 40-million-dollars. Proposed changes include combining he chief facilities officer and chief operations officer into one job. Two supervisors and two coordinators in leadership development in the academic’s department would also be reduced to one position each. Five coordinators of suicide prevention and mental health services would be cut, and an assistant director of artificial intelligence would go. Critics are crying foul, saying the district is still cutting too many teacher positions with over 100 on the line…
