Fort Myers man accused of probation violation following 49th arrest

A Fort Myers man is accused of violating the terms of his probation following his 49th arrest on fleeing and eluding charges, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers says Dessie Crawford, 63, was spotted by deputies rolling a stop sign at a busy intersection. When they attempted to pull over Crawford, deputies say he kept driving for another two miles before stopping at a local business.

Crime Stoppers says Crawford was driving with an expired tag and an indefinitely suspended license. He was arrested and taken to jail, where he was found guilty of his charges…
